Two systems, one request

Septic

  • Pumping and cleaning. Most tanks need pumping every few years, sooner with a big household.
  • Inspections. Lenders and buyers often ask for one before an acreage sale closes.
  • Backups and repairs. Slow drains, odours or wet spots over the field are worth getting checked before they get worse.
  • New systems. Building on bare land? A contractor can quote a tank and field that fit your lot.

Water well

  • Drilling. New wells for new builds, or a replacement when an old one runs dry.
  • Pump and pressure repair. No water, low pressure or a pump that won't stop running.
  • Water testing. Private well water should be tested regularly for bacteria and chemistry.
  • Shock chlorination. After repairs, flooding, or a bad test result.

When to book

Spring

Check for snowmelt problems and test your well water after runoff.

Summer

Easiest season for drilling, new systems and field repairs.

Fall

Pump the tank before the ground freezes so winter access isn't an issue.

Winter

Frozen lines and failed pumps can't wait. Send a request as soon as something stops.

Common questions

How often should a septic tank be pumped?

It depends on tank size and how many people live in the home. Many households pump every three to five years. A contractor can check sludge levels and tell you what your system needs.

I'm buying an acreage. Do I need a septic and well check?

It's strongly recommended. An inspection and a water test before closing tell you whether the systems work and whether the water is safe to drink.

Do you come out to rural properties?

Yes. Our contractors serve acreages and farms across Lethbridge County and nearby counties. Tell us your nearest town so we can match you with someone who covers your area.

Who will contact me?

An independent local septic or well contractor. You deal with them directly for pricing and scheduling.
